Here is a list of the songs I’ve been listening to to help me get over my heart break. I’ll include links to the videos with lyrics if I can find them, because I think reading and listening will better help you understand the meaning of the song. I’ve broken them up by song type, but mixed up the genres because I think you will skip right to a genre of music you normally like and miss out on something amazing! Give them each a chance. They are all amazing in their own way. My list is exhaustive so I’ll be adding to it as I go, so please check back! They are in no particular order, I just add them as I find them. But please let me know which ones you liked the best. I hope they help you as much as they’ve helped me.

You’re Going To Regret This/You’ll Miss Me

Many of these songs are kind of angry *f you songs, some are cute and spunky, and some may still be sad but all of them are showing one common thread: “You will regret this someday when you look back and realize what you’ve lost”

Get The Heck Out Songs/ I Never Want To See You Again

I think this title is self explanatory, smiles. 

Sad Goodbye/ Don’t Want To Let You Go/Please Let Me Go

These can be killers. They are heartfelt, sad, and just plain moving. But it seems one or both of you realize the futility of the relationship. That it has become toxic, broken and unfixable by this point, so all that is left to do is kiss him/her gently and move on; however painful that will be.

Too Late Baby, I’m Not Taking You Back, I’ve Moved On And I Don’t Think Of Or Miss You Anymore

Inspirational/ Friends Telling You That Everything Will Be Ok/ You Have Reached That Place Where You Are Finally Happy
